Frequently asked questions
How do I search for an entity?
Use the search bar on the app dashboard. You can search by entity name, street address, or parcel ID. Results show resolved entities with match confidence scores.
What counties are included?
DeedOverflow covers 14 Massachusetts counties. See the pricing FAQ or About page for the current list. We add counties regularly.
How do I export data?
CSV and JSON export are available after you sign in. Navigate to an entity and use the Export button to download its deed history.
How do entity alerts work?
Save an entity and enable alerts to get notified when new deed activity is recorded for that entity. Alert limits vary by plan.
I found incorrect data — what should I do?
Deed records can contain source errors or ambiguous names. Use the Contact page and select "Data correction" to report an issue with a specific entity or deed.
